It's been quite a trip!  I got a taste for radio when I was a student in the Radio & Television Department at Onondaga Community College.  I tried my hand as a television cameraman as well as a sports writer for a local paper, but I found my calling in radio when I started here at WSEN FM 92.1 in 2001.

Since then, I've had a groovy time while entertaining the masses throughout the overnights.  I have also taken my talents outside of the studio with The Sounds and Images Co. (The S.A.I.Co.), my own DJ service.

Other than music, my passions are movies, collecting PEZ memorabilia.  I am also a thrill seeker, whether it be bungee jumping, skydivers, downhill skiing or riding  ATV's  and snowmobiles.

Greetings and Salutations,

MURFEE MOMENT #502 – Why do hotdogs come in packages of ten and hotdog buns come in packages of eight?

Well the month of April was not a very active one for The Spidr-Man. But hey, I’m allowed to relax once in awhile right? Don’t get me wrong, it was a great month. Had the first Bar-B-Q of the year and enjoyed some awesome weather, up until the last week of it anyways.

Ok, I’ve held it off long enough. I warned you about the FINAL DART LEAGUE UPDATE. So the tournament was held, and … and … and … I missed it. Yup, waited all season for the one thing that I could’ve rocked at, and didn’t know it was happening until an hour before and couldn’t make it. Well now the suspense is over.

Time now to learn a few things about myself and maybe something new for you to try with ….

MURFEES MONTHLY MENTIONINGS

Theatre Flick : Ironman : Starring – Robert Downey Jr.   A movie long time awaited, at least in my book. Loved the comics, loved the cartoons and now the movie is here.

Home Movie : Doom : Starring – Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.  Based on the video game Doom, this movie has great special effects. And it even has a seven minute segment that was filmed in first person that stayed true to the game. Although it got harshly criticized, it is one of my faves.

TV Show : Samantha Who? – ABC
An interesting little comedy about someone who loses their memory and tries to cope with the world as if it was new to them. I leave the rest to your imagination.

Video Game : Need For Speed Underground 2
A great game for those who like to race. Not only racing is involved, but you earn cash for wins that you can put into decorating your car with all sorts of decals, paint jobs and even rims. The best part is that you can even just drive the car around and not have to race, you know for those lazy days.

Board Game : Scrabble
Oh yeah going for an instant classic. Just whatever you do, if you play don’t attempt to take on my mom. I swear she’s undefeated.

 Card Game : Blackjack
Very easy to play and learn. Just reach twenty-one without going over.

Ear Candy : Tantric – The End Begins
The first two albums were great and this new album by them is looking to be just as good. The lead singer, formerly of Days Of The New, has a very deep voice that mixes well with the rock that the rest of the band puts in his background.

Thrill : The Outdoors
Being that this is the beginning of spring, simply enjoy the outdoors. Have a Bar-B-Q, go to a bonfire, swim in a pool or other body of water or just go camping.
