April 23rd is the YWCA Day of Commitment to eliminate racism and promote diversity.  The YWCA of Syracuse and Onondaga County invites community leaders, business people and the general public to participate in diversity workshops that begin at 8:30am.  The workshops include: What You Need To Know About Work-Place Bullying, Bridges Out Of Poverty, Why Learning To Be Comfortable With Difference Improves All Our Lives and Democracy In Action - Lessons From The Most Diverse Presidential Election In History.  Following is a luncheon honoring 28 individuals who will be inducted into the 2008 YWCA Academy of Diversity Achievers.  Each recipient is very different, but they all have a passion that drives them to get involved in their communities.  Show your commitment to eliminating racism and promoting diversity on Wednesday, April 23rd by attending the workshops and luncheon.  For more information, call 424-0040.
